A protected area, classified Natura2000!
Located on the Léon plateau in Finistère, the Langazel wetland at Trémaouézan features a variety of habitats, including the oldest peat bog in Brittany, with a history dating back over 11,500 years. Made up of wet meadows and moorland, this area is home to some incredible flora and fauna. You'll discover marbled newts, loose-flowered orchids, round-leaved sundews and one of the springs of the Aber Wrac'h! A protected natural site ideal for hiking and nature-watching...
The 9km hiking trail, punctuated by interpretive markers, allows you to discover this original landscape. A 30-minute interpretation trail and a geocaching tour! During your visit, you'll learn all about the site's history, the association's activities and the biodiversity that our staff and volunteers strive to preserve and enhance.

The site is run by the Langazel association, which regularly organizes events to help visitors discover the environment.
