Review and outlook
Activity report
Because it's important to keep abreast of changes in visitor flows, customer expectations and satisfaction... We regularly distribute the information we gather to our partners in the region and beyond (Brest terres océanes, Comité régional du tourisme...).
In addition, and for a more local perspective, the Tourist Office has drawn up a summer report. Local professionals were invited to express their feelings about the 2023 season.
What about the Brest region?
For a broader view, take a look at the ADEUPa agency's assessment of the 2023 tourist season in the Brest region.
Tourist tax
A tourist tax is applied on a real basis throughout the territory. It is payable by all non-residents staying in commercial accommodation. Visitors pay it directly to the accommodation providers, who then transfer it to the Communauté d'agglomération du pays de Landerneau Daoulas (CAPLD), payable to the Trésor Public.
Day-to-day management of the tax is carried out by the Landerneau Daoulas agglomeration community.
All procedures (declarations, regulations, technical questions, etc.) are handled via the CAPLD tourist tax platform.
