A different way to visit Landerneau!
The circuit will delight the more athletic for the gradients it presents over its first few kilometers. It then takes in the town center before crossing the neighborhoods on the way to Plouédern.

Itinerary
Step 1/7:

Start from the parking lot near the kayak club. After 450 m, turn left. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead. Follow the railroad line. Be prepared for a steep climb. Pass between the Triskalia head office and the Laïta factory and begin to climb the slope. Fortunately, the climb is short-lived.

After 1.6 km, turn right onto the track and enter the undergrowth. You'll pass behind the Lycée Saint-Joseph. At the traffic circle, cross the road and take the path. The climb continues as far as Rosquelen. This brings you to Pencran.

Direction Pencran

At the Kermaria cross, turn right onto the Roman road. You begin your descent towards the town center. You'll pass through wooded areas offering views over the town. At the antenna, turn right and walk past the reservoir. It's a steep descent, and hikers will need to be careful on this part of the circuit.

At the stop sign, turn left. 500 m further on, turn right. A new
viewpoint is revealed. You'll recognize the bell towers of Saint-Thomas and Saint-Houardon. The town's rooftops complete the panorama.

Continue downhill towards the Saint-Thomas district. Pass the former farrier's house. Further on, cross the Dourdon alleyway and cross the Rohan bridge. Cross the road and continue up Rue de la Fontaine Blanche. You'll pass the Capucins, then head back up towards the station.

Historic city center

Turn right in front of the café on your right. Follow the railroad line. You'll pass behind the Manoir de Keranden.

Cross the railway bridge. At the cease-and-desist sign, turn right and head downhill towards Plouédern. At the Maison Bleue, turn right into
. Follow the road markings and the footpath, which follows the old biodiversity trail. The descent towards the Elorn begins. Cross the D712. Before returning to your starting point, walk along the old brickworks and take rue des écossais.
