Why take advantage?

The Pont-Christ chapel was built in 1533 by Guillaume de Brezal and Marguerite Le Senechal. This ancient chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame de Bon Secours is located in the commune of La Roche-Maurice, not far from Landerneau.

In the 16th century, Pont-Christ was a village of poor peasants who worked flax and hemp for manufacturers who sold the cloth to merchants.

In the 18th century, the chapel began to fall into disrepair for lack of maintenance. Between 1988 and 1995, the site was saved and enhanced, and every year on August 15, the pardon was celebrated in the ruins of the chapel. All that remains today are the remains of the chapel and its adjoining calvary. The picturesque site is much admired by visitors.

In 2022, the soñj contemporary art festival staged a performance in the chapel ruins, and every year couples come here to have their wedding photos taken.
Access to the site is non-stop.
