Day 2: Nature getaway 5 minutes from Landerneau
No need to hire a car: just hop on the TER train at Landerneau in the direction of Brest and get off at La Forest-Landerneau station. A 5-minute journey and you're already out of town. Here, you'll find the Élorn in its more maritime guise, on the edge of the Brest roadstead. Set off, picnic in your rucksack, for a day outing!
A walk in the heart of nature
Descending the banks of the Élorn
Warm up your calves! Descend the banks of the Élorn and follow the coastal path to the right. As you meander along, the landscape changes, revealing the wooded opposite banks of Loperhet and Plougastel-Daoulas. Take advantage of this more oceanic atmosphere to breathe in this iodized air and listen to all the sounds of nature around you.
On the way home
Back to Landerneau... on foot
Tired? Get back on the train! Alternatively, take a break at the Café de la Gare, then follow the brand-new footpath that links Landerneau in about 1 hour, still following the River Élorn. Along the way, you'll come across a succession of landscapes: countryside, forest and streams, making for a constantly surprising stroll!

For those of you with a little more time on your hands, Daoulas is the place to be! Since September 2022, you can take the No. 39 bus from Landerneau to Daoulas for the day. 7 round trips are scheduled from Monday to Friday.
