After a visit to the FHEL, continue your contemporary art tour with a visit to the Galerie de Rohan and its annual exhibitions. An initiative of the town of Landerneau, the gallery aims to be a place where everyone can exchange, share and discover contemporary art.

Sublimes Paysages autour de Yan' Dargent
A l’occasion du bicentenaire de la naissance de Yan’ Dargent, peintre qui a marqué l’histoire locale, la ville de Landerneau a choisi de mêler patrimoine et art contemporain.
Par-delà le temps, l’exposition estivale de la Galerie de Rohan, propose à des artistes d’aujourd’hui d’établir des correspondances sensibles avec l’art de Yan’ Dargent. Ponctué de quelques-unes de ses œuvres majeures, des paysages conservés dans des musées de Bretagne, le projet interroge la possibilité de tisser des liens entre une œuvre qui appartient à l’histoire et les recherches contemporaines de quatre artistes (Yuna Amand, Nikolas Fouré, Angélique Lecaille, Quentin Montagne ) tant du point de vue de l’approche du sujet, de la composition, de la technique.

One ambition
Accessible contemporary art
After the opening of the Fonds Hélène et Édouard Leclerc pour la culture in 2012 by the Leclerc family, the town of Landerneau decided to pursue its cultural policy by offering a freely accessible venue showcasing contemporary art.
With two exhibitions a year, the Galerie de Rohan offers a diverse range of artworks accessible to all.

An art gallery in the historic heart of Landerneau
Located in the former Rohan bookshop, in the heart of the Saint-Thomas district on the left bank of the Elorn river, the 130 m² space invites visitors to discover the city from an artistic angle. Not far away, rue Lafayette and its artists' and craftsmen's workshops provide a continuity for a 100% artistic discovery of the very poetic Cité de la Lune.
A visit to the Galerie is part of an overall discovery of Landerneau, from its historic center to the banks of the Elorn.
Follow the ground line!
To encourage visitors to continue their discovery of Landerneau, there are two walking circuits. The heritage circuit guides you through the historic heart of the town, which is marked by a continuous blue line on the ground. The Breton intangible heritage circuit invites you to discover the banks of the Elorn river.
