The Clés

“Clévacances” is a quality label awarded to furnished tourism accommodation and bed and breakfast accommodation. Any accommodation granted with the “Clévacances” label has been visited by an authorised commission or has been verified by an estate agent according to very precise criteria (in compliance with the Order dated of the 1st april 1997, relative to furnished tourism accommodation and bed & breakfast accommodation classification).

This visit and then later the regular inspections allow us to guarantee that each “Clévacances” accommodation is comfortable, has its own separate entrance, is in good condition and is not subject to any nuisances or to any problems with the neighbourhood. In the Finistere, the accommodations, with a label, are classified, according to the services provided, into five categories, from 1 to 5 “clés”.

The Epis

Services in “gite rural and chambre d’hôtes” are regulated by the Gîtes de France national charter. A classification by “Epis” defines standards of quality that ensure that your “gîte rural and chambre d’hôtes” provide the proper level of service. “1 épi” has the necessary facilities to make your stay enjoyable. Quality improves with the number of “épis”.

The rooms listed

The rooms listed are rooms in the resident’s property, either in his / her main residence or an adjoining building and offer the option of breakfast. The frame of reference for chambers d’hôtes, applied by the network of Tourist Information Offices, defines the minimum conditions in terms of comfort and facilities for a high quality room, and is valid for a period of 5 years.

Created by the permanent Assembly of the Chambers of Agriculture, “Bienvenue à la ferme” is a national logo awarded to farm facilities and local products. Properties displaying the “Bienvenue à la Ferme” logo are always also “Gîtes de France”.
